Advanced Life Support

This is typically a two-day course provided by a centre approved by the Resuscitation Council UK. It includes simulation training, workshops and lectures.

Topics that you will cover in ALS include:

• Responding to the acutely ill patient using the ABCDE approach
• Rhythm recognition
• CPR and defibrillation
• Treating bradycardia
• Treating tachycardia
• Interpreting ABGs and ECGs
